Course Description

You will have an opportunity to keep your Hebrew sharp by reading through the Old Testament with your instructor and peers. Through this course, you will sharpen your translation skills, gain intimate knowledge of the assigned texts, and apply the methods of analysis, translation, and exegesis you learned through your Hebrew courses.


Books to Purchase

The books listed below are required readings which students should acquire by the start of the term. Additional required readings will be listed in the course syllabus and available electronically in Canvas.

No textbooks to purchase. You should have your copy of the BHS from your Hebrew courses.
You will be reading and translating selected passages from the book of Judges
