Advanced Theological Writing I

Course Description

This course will play a role in your theological development by helping you express yourself more clearly and accurately in theological writing. You will learn how your paragraphs can be better unified, organized, and developed. You’ll practice expressing your main point and giving evidence and reasons for your position. You will quote, summarize, and interact with sources and analyze their content. As a result, you will become more accurate and fluent in using English phrases and clauses and combining them into theological paragraphs. You will also practice choosing the right word for the context, citing sources in Turabian, and using available software to cite. This course will help you increase the complexity, accuracy, and completeness of your theological writing, and it will give you the knowledge and skills needed to prevent plagiarism.
