Paying Your Tuition

All of your tuition charges will be billed to you through Populi. There are several different ways for you to pay, but the easiest is to pay online right through your Populi account.

On the financial section of your profile in Populi, you can click "Make a Payment" to make an electronic payment with an e-check or credit card. You can also generate a link to send to someone else to contribute toward your tuition by clicking on "Someone else paying"! If you would like to set up a payment plan, follow the instructions here.

If a Populi payment is not right for you, you can also stop by the Student Success Office (on the second floor of Machen) with your check, cash, or money order.

If you plan to pay for your term using a student loan, you will first need to complete the loan request process to get your loan set up on your account. Once it has been set up, you will be able to see it under the "Pending Aid" column. If you need to set up a loan for the upcoming term, please email financialaid@wts.edu as soon as possible, as the loan process can take up to one week to complete.

International Payments

For payments from accounts originating outside of the US, we also accept bank wires/transfers. The easiest way for these payments to be made is through Flywire, our partner platform for international payments.

Please reach out to the Student Success team with any questions about Flywire or international payments in general.

Mailed Payments

If you or a friend would like to send a check through the mail, it can be mailed to the following address:

Westminster Theological Seminary

Attn: Student Billing

2960 W. Church Road

Glenside, PA 19038

To ensure that we can match the funds to the proper student account, please make sure that a note with your name is included with the payment.

Installment-Based Payment Plans for Domestic Students

We also offer payment plans so that you can pay off your tuition over the course of the semester, rather than making a single payment to cover your balance. The plan is subject to approval and needs to be in place by the first day of the term. Our basic payment plans can be set up through your Populi account, but feel free to reach out to our team if you have any questions about what sort of payment plan might work best for you.

Can I see my invoices broken down by term?

The financial tab in your profile can gives an overview of how much is due per term. You can see the breakdown of what has been charged to your account and what is still left to pay. Previous payments are logged in your profile, making it easy for you to keep track and find information you may need!

Click the "By Term" tab to see what is is due in each term. Narrow your search by choosing a particular term in the "Show" dropdown menu. To see what is due in per term, find and click on the current term. You can also navigate to other terms as you advance through the program to see what has been applied to your account.

Once your payment is complete, your account will reflect a zero balance.

Outstanding financial obligations

If for some reason a student does not pay their balance, they will be removed from any courses and unable to register for any subsequent terms until the payment is made. That student will also be unable to have transcripts sent or receive a diploma.

If the account balance has not been paid in full by the conclusion of the term, the student will be withdrawn from his or her program and will not be allowed to be reinstated until all outstanding payments have been made.
