OT 211 Course at a Glance

OT History and Theology I

Lecturing Faculty: Jonathan Gibson

Effective for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

Course Description

This course will help you understand the unfolding of God’s kingdom in the book of Genesis. In particular, it will cover the first three chapters of Genesis in detail. The approach will be redemptive-historical, in which the early revelation of God’s kingdom on earth finds its fulfillment in Christ and his kingdom. The overarching paradigm of "kingdom through covenant" will shape the approach to the course. (3 credits)
