How to: Test Your Internet Connection Speed

If you wonder if your internet connection speed is fast enough to keep up with video lectures or a video call, you can test your speed in your location before you begin. 

Simply visit www.fast.com and wait for your connection speed score to automatically calculate. You will know it is done when it lights up in black with a green circle to the right to confirm.

We recommend a score of 5–10 Mbps as a minimum. Higher is preferred.
